Toba bryant

Toba Bryant is Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Author of An Introduction to Health Policy (2009) and co-editor of Staying Alive: Critical Perspectives on Health, Illness, and Health Care (with Dennis Raphael and Marcia Rioux, 2010), she is also the author of several journal articles and book chapters, including recent publications in the Canadian Journal of Diabetes and Health Policy. Her research interests centre on the areas of health and social policy, globalization and the health of Canadians, social determinants of health, and urban health. Bryant is the recipient of several major research grants including a Canadian Institutes for Health Research, Institute of Population and Public Health grant for “Globalization and the Health of Canadians: A transdisciplinary research network” and a SSHRC Research Grant for “A Study on the Incidence and Management of Diabetes.”
